It is with deep sadness that we say goodbye to a special teacher, colleague, and friend. Mr. Lynn Jackson, a fifth grade teacher at ATL, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022. Mr. Jackson impacted the lives of us all through his humble spirit, compassionate soul, and gentle demeanor. He dedicated his life to helping young people reach their full potential. Mr. Jackson founded The Gentleman’s Club at our school which taught young boys skills like how to tie and necktie, how to eat a formal dinner, and how to be a leader in our ever-changing society. His love for teaching was demonstrated daily. Mr. Jackson’s presence will truly be missed in the halls of ATL, but his legacy will remain with us forever. Rest in peace Mr. Lynn Jackson…your ATL family loves you.
