The Academy will host a Fall Book Fair from November 14 - 18, 2022. Please check out all that it has to offer, set up your e-wallet, and maybe even get a little Christmas shopping done by going to the Scholastic Website. Parents and families are invited to shop on Tuesday, November 15 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. First and second grade families will have the chance to shop at Family Literacy Night on Thursday, November 17 from 5:30 - 6:30.

For the first time since 2019, The Academy will host it's Fall Festival! The Fall Festival will be held on Friday, November 4 from 5:30 - 7:00. We are asking for donations of bakery items (cakes, cupcakes, etc.) and individually wrapped candy. You can send candy between now and November 5 and bakery items on Friday, November 4. Tickets are on sale now for $0.25 each. We'll be selling Below is a list of games and activities we'll be having! You may purchase tickets ahead of time or at the Festival. We hope to see you there!!
Get your ATL Spirit Wear while you can! Orders are due by October 28. NO LATE ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED! Order forms are being sent home with your child.
Red Ribbon Week will be held October 24 - 28, 2022. Please note the following special themes for each day during the week:
Monday (10/24) – RED DAY –Celebrate Life. Live Drug Free (Students may wear hats and shades, if they wish, as well) Tuesday (10/25) – THROWBACK DAY – Leave Drugs Behind! Wednesday (10/26) – TACKY DAY – OOOH! Drugs Are Tacky! Thursday (10/27) – CAMO DAY – Be Strong and Courageous! Be a Leader, not a follower! Friday (10/28) – TEAM SPIRIT DAY – Team Up Against Drugs! The Academy celebrated the end of our first quarter with International Dot Day and a Dot Com Museum. International Dot Day celebrates making your mark on the world and is based on Peter Reynolds' book, The Dot. Students enjoyed many activities in their classrooms, created art out of dots, took pictures at our photo booths and got to experience an "old" technology exhibit sponsored by 7th grade.
