School Board Information

Meeting Dates

School board meetings will begin at 5:30 and will be held on the following dates: 
  • January 26, 2026
  • February 23, 2026
  • April 27, 2026
  • May 18, 2026

Public Comments

All persons who wish to participate must do so through established procedures. These procedures are designed to encourage participation and ensure the orderly management of the meetings. The board is committed to compliance with the South Carolina Freedom of Information Act as well as all other federal and state laws that regulate or affect board actions and policy. A citizen must submit a written request to speak no later than 12:00 p.m. on the day of the scheduled meeting of the board. This written request must be submitted to the school office or emailed to [email protected] before the noon deadline. That request will state the name of the individual or group submitting the request, the address, the purpose of the request, and the topic to be addressed. A request form is attached or available in the school office. Public comment is a time for the board to receive information. The board will not debate with or comment during this session. The board will only listen during public comment and will take no formal action on these matters.
Each speaker will have a total of three (3) minutes to address the board. No profane or vulgar language will be permitted. The board vests in its chairman or another presiding officer the authority to terminate the remarks of any individual not adhering to the rules established above.
The chairman of the board will introduce speakers who have previously submitted a request to the board at the appropriate time during the agenda and invite them to make comments on agenda topics. Speakers may offer objective comments on school operations and programs that concern them. The board will not permit in public session any expression of personal complaints about school personnel or against any other person connected with the school. Public comment is limited to a total of 15 minutes. If a group would like to speak to the board, a spokesperson needs to be selected and the group’s spokesperson indicates the group he/she is representing on the sign-up sheet and his/her reason for comments.
