Important Information

Our school is experiencing a high percentage of students with flu-like symptoms. In order to keep the spread of sickness from increasing, please keep your student home if they are experiencing any type of symptom. The remainder of the week will be optional virtual learning if you feel that your student needs to stay home to stop the spread. Students in grades 3 - 8 will complete assignments on Schoology if they choose to be virtual. Students in K - 2 will have work from their teacher in their bookbags. Each classroom will be extra sanitized during the week. Please let us know if you have questions or if your student tests positive for the flu or Covid-19. Thank you for your help.

In Memory of Mr. Lynn Jackson

It is with deep sadness that we say goodbye to a special teacher, colleague, and friend. Mr. Lynn Jackson, a fifth grade teacher at ATL, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022. Mr. Jackson impacted the lives of us all through his humble spirit, compassionate soul, and gentle demeanor. He dedicated his life to helping young people reach their full potential. Mr. Jackson founded The Gentleman’s Club at our school which taught young boys skills like how to tie a necktie, how to eat a formal dinner, and how to be a leader in our ever-changing society. His love for teaching was demonstrated daily. Mr. Jackson’s presence will truly be missed in the halls of ATL, but his legacy will remain with us forever. Rest in peace Mr. Lynn Jackson…your ATL family loves you.
